Bavaria City Racing Dublin is coming. Here's what to expect

31/01/2012 5:51 pm

If you want an idea of what to expect when Bavaria City Racing comes to Dublin later this year, try this on for size.

The footage above comes from the Bavaria City Moscow event and as big Richey Dunne showed last year, anything the Rooskies do, we can do better. If you think this looks good, imagine what it’ll be like when the cars go flying along Custom House Quay, across O’Connell Bridge and around College Green.

Will there be fast cars? Hell, yes. There’ll be Super cars, Touring cars, Formula 2, WRC, Drifters, Superbikes and demonstrations from internationally celebrated F1 cars and drivers, including former World Champion and Head and Shoulders enthusiast Jenson Button.

100,000 people are expected to attend and if fast cars and a buzzing crowd isn’t enough, there’ll be loads of hot models parading around the place as well.

Access to most of the Bavaria City Racing Dublin route is free, but you can still pick up some of the prize tickets for the exhibition zonesat Custom House Quay and O'Connell Bridge, as well as the F1-style paddock area beside the Convention Centre.

Only five months to go, we can't wait.
