Top 50 Supercars – we’re open to suggestions

JOE.ie is embarking on a series of Top 50s over the coming months. Every month, we’ll be building towards a regular feature for a week-long countdown – we’ll have our Top 50 Irish women, and the best 50 hurlers and footballers in the country.

Kicking us off, though, is something that usually gets all red-blooded lads excited: fast cars.

We put together a couple of little lists of European and American supercars recently. That generated plenty of comment, with emails berating us on our choices landing in our inboxes at regular intervals for a couple of weeks.

So with that in mind, and the announcement that Bavaria City Racing Dublin will be bringing all the excitement of supercars and F1 to Ireland next summer, we decided to put together a Top 50 Supercars feature – and ask you, our faithful readers, for your suggestions.

If you have a particular favourite, let us know about it. You might think the Ferrari 458 Italia (main picture above) tops the lot, or that the original Bugatti Veyron sets the bar.
