This Sunday, Premier League champions Manchester City arrive in Limerick to face Limerick FC in a friendly and we have a pair of tickets to give away.
This Sunday, Roberto Mancini brings his star-studded team of Premier League champions to the most famous rugby ground in Ireland, Thomond Park. In their final warm-up game before the Community Shield match against Chelsea, City are expected to bring a strong side and looking at the names they have rolled out to promote the match with Limerick FC, there should be plenty of familiar faces.
Gael Clichy, James Milner and Joe Hart have all spoken about the importance of the game with the keeper saying: “All the lads at Manchester City are really looking forward to our visit to Ireland. Preseason is where a lot of the hard work is done so this will be a key game in our pre season programme. Thomond Park is a really historic stadium and I’m sure the people of Limerick will give us a great greeting for the game.”
