What better way to rewrite the rulebook than a refreshing Jameson Apple Crush? This is a drink that's refreshing, easy to mix and should ease you into the summer months as the perfect accompaniment to a decidedly atypical sunny Irish day.

Take a look at our simple directions below and watch the above clip and before you know it you'll be sipping away as care-free as possible in a sun lounger, enjoying a unique twist on the classic taste of Jameson.

What you'll need

- 35ml Jameson

- 10ml Apple Schnapps

- 25ml cloudy apple juice

- Float 10ml Dom Benedictine

- Pinch of cinnamon

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Then strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice and garnish with an apple slice.
