We always strive to bring you Jameson cocktails that are a twist on an old classic and this week is no exception - a Jameson Almond Old Fashioned.

Let's face it, we know you read this section in order to impress your friends with your latest concoctions at the weekend and with a Jameson Old Fashiond, they simply won't be able to resist the welcoming aroma from their glass. Best of all, it takes hardly any practice to become an expert at serving it up.

What you'll need

- 50ml Jameson

- 10ml Amaretto / Caramel Liqueur

- 10ml Sugar Syrup

- 3 dash organge bitters

Stir one shot of Jameson with two ice cubes in a glass. Add amaretto, simple syrup, bitters and two more ice cubes. Stir some more, then add another two ice cubes and the remaining Jameson.

Stir lots more so as to melt ice, then add more ice. The melting and stirring in of ice cubes is essential to the dilution and taste of the drink.
