Olympic bronze medallist Michael Conlan was out and about in Dublin yesterday and put his considerable reach to good use to take the piss out of Enda Kenny.

It’s been a busy past few days for the 20 year-old Belfast man; Winning an Olympic bronze medal, becoming a hero, receiving a rapturous welcome on Dawson Street, losing his phone in Coppers last night and planning a holiday in Bundoran with Paddy Barnes.

In between all these antics Michael Conlan was able to meet Taoiseach Enda Kenny at Government Buildings in Dublin and engage in a little fun with man.

The youngest member of the Irish squad lived up to his playful reputation by doing the old “bunny rabbit ears” trick on Enda.

The Taoiseach had had a lot to contend with over the last few years with the economy, the Eurozone crisis, dealing with Phil Hogan... but we don’t think we’ve ever seen the man more uncomfortable than with Katie Taylor and John Joe Nevin’s fists under his chin and young Michael Conlan’s two fingers over his head.
