The divisive former Manchester United and England star, turned divisive Sky Sports pundit, was in the City of the Tribes for a jaunt at the weekend.

It seems that he spent more time smiling for the cameras than enjoying the stag outing that took him to Galway in the first place.

But he did get some time to enjoy the facilities at Pure Skills in Knocknacarra, where he tried his hand at hurling among other unfamiliar ball-games:
