Pic of the Day: Yes, Carlos Tevez is actually a caddie at the British Open today

No, your eyes do not deceive you - Carlos Tevez of Manchester City is a guest caddie for Andres Romero of Argentina during the final round of the British Open today.

He was no stranger to the golf course during his self-imposed exile from the Premier League champions midway through last season and today Carlos Tevez took his love of golf even further.

Though the Argentine striker was just a spectator yesterday, he stepped up on the final round of action today to help out his compatriot Andres Romero - though his appearance didn't provide much help for the golfer, who shot a 12 over par to sit dead last of the 83 players who made the cut.

On the plus side, the two appear to be in fine spirits throughout, even if Tevez's appearance appears to have been more of a jinx than a lucky talisman.
