The XX have been away for a while since their debut album xx was released in 2009 to rave critical reviews and commercial success.
Their chilled-out, atmospheric-style is ideal to get lost in and we immediately relaxed to tracks like Intro, Crystallised and Islands before they were sequestered by TV ads and sports montages.
Their new album Coexist has been in the works for a while and when the band announced they were going to give people a listen to the first track off the album on their Facebook page last week, we moseyed over to check out Angels for ourselves and we weren’t disappointed.
