As many as 20,000 Irish fans passed through Dublin Airport over the past 24 hours heading for Poland and the start of Ireland's Euro 2012 journey in Poznan on Sunday.

And the sense of humour was in fine working order judging from this group who snapped their message to German Chancellor and Ireland's overlord Angela Merkel before they boarded their flight.
