Leaving Cert results day is packed with emotion for the students and parents involved. On Twitter, it is just a chance for the rest of us to take the piss.
Like Bono or Coppers, every Irish person has a Leaving Cert results story. Where you were, who you were with and who you ended up with are burned onto our brains for posterity, a sure sign that the day you get your results is genuinely one of the most important of your life, regardless of the letters that appear on the page.
So, as you might expect, Twitter is aflame today with all sorts of congratulations tweets, warning tweets, results tweets and quite a lot of other people just having a laugh, grateful that they are not opening that envelope today.
However, of all the tweets we saw today, this one from Eoghan Rice, (@rice_e) is one us older folk can use to console us as we look back, perhaps with a tinge of regret, at our more youthful selves.
