Would you be willing to trade your All-Ireland Final ticket for an Olympic bronze medal won by an Irish boxer? If so, give Paddy Barnes a shout.
Tickets for tomorrow’s clash between Mayo and Donegal aren’t easy to come by – a pair were sold for over seven grand on eBay for God’s sake – but Olympic medals don’t exactly grow on trees either and we’re sure there were a few heads turned when charismatic Belfast boxer posted this tweet late last night.
.
The crazy thing is, Paddy is such a character that you couldn’t be sure whether he’s having you on or if he’s dead serious. After all, he’s offering up the medal he won in Beijing four years ago, having already secured a ready-made replacement for the mantelpiece with the bronze he courageously won in London last month.
Whatever happens, there mightn’t be too many Donegal fans offering Paddy a ticket after a picture he posted while on holiday in the county recently.

After that show of allegiance, surely there’ll be some Mayo fan with a spare ticket willing to help Paddy out.
