The one and only Colm Tobin comes up with the perfect tweet for that Enda/Merkel smooch picture that is everywhere today.

Overnight, a big EU get together saw yet more rules brought in regarding banking in Europe. In short, it should allow the European Central Bank to pump funds directly into troublesome banks rather than funnel them through State funds, like happened to us when things went tits up here.

While all this was going on Enda Kenny was, we are told, still pushing for Ireland to get some debt relief and as the below picture shows, he was certainly getting very close to the woman that can make that happen, German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
