Tonight’s TV: Ben Earl: Trick Artist, Amlin Cup final and Billy Madison

It’s all about the money for the illusionist tonight, Leinster go for European glory and an Adam Sandler classic.

Ben Earl: Trick Artist, Channel 4, 9pm

The illusionist uses his powers for monetary gain tonight as he gets up to some stuff in a casino. He also shows just how unsecure your online banking password could be while he also tries to nab £10,000 from a locked safe.

Amlin Cup final, Sky Sports 2, 7.30pm

It’s not the final they wanted to be in – that is played tomorrow – but the Amlin Cup final in the RDS is not a bad consolation for Joe Schmidt. It is Schmidt’s second-last game in charge before he heads for Irish duty and Stade Francais stand in the way of the first leg of a potential Leinster double.

Brian O’Driscoll won’t be playing but aside from that Leinster send out a very strong team and we reckon this could be an even better game to watch than tomorrow’s Heineken Cup final.

Billy Madison, ITV2, 23.20pm

A rich idiot is forced to go back to school so he can take over the family business. Sandler is his usual self here as he is forced to go through 12 years of school in 24 weeks. It’s not the smartest film ever made, but for Friday night fare, you’ll get a few laughs.
