There is not a whole pile on the box tonight, but here is the best of what is available to you. Family Guy, Champions League gold and The Other Guys.

Main pick: Family Guy, BBC 3, 10.35pm

As we said, things are pretty slack tonight, but Family Guy is always good for a cheap laugh. This episode sees Mort enlist the help of Peter and Quagmire as he battles overwhelming financial troubles, but things take a turn for the worse when they decide to burn down his pharmacy for the insurance money.

And to cap it all off, another episode follows directly after.

Sporting pick: Football Gold: Manchester United v Barcelona 2011, Sky Sports 2, 8.10pm

There is very little sporting action on the telly box so Sky Sports are ratcheting up the Champions League buzz ahead of Saturday’s final at Wembley. The pick of the action could be a re-watch of the 2011 final with Barcelona in their pomp. Yes it is painful viewing for Red Devil fans, but the football from Pep Guardiola’s men was nothing short of sublime and could well prove to have been the great team at their very, very best.

Movie pick: The Other Guys, 9.35pm

Will Ferrell is on our screens again with this comedy from 2010. Two desk-bound incompetent cops live in the shadow of their more daring colleagues. However, when the heroes of the station are killed in a bizarre accident, the bumbling duo get the chance to prove their worth as they stumble on a tycoon's illegal activities.
