Tonight’s TV: Hillsborough, 2005 Champions League Final, National Lampoon’s Vacation

Liverpool fans have a lot to watch tonight as Panorama takes a look into the Hillsborough disaster and Sky replay the 2005 Champions League Final, while we have a laugh with National Lampoon's Vacation.

Main Event: Hillsborough, BBC1, 9pm

‘How They Buried the Truth’ is a Panorama investigation into Britain's worst football disaster, when 96 Liverpool fans died during the 1989 FA Cup semi-final. Reporter Peter Marshall asks why a succession of official investigations left the truth hidden for a generation, while previously unseen footage reveals a failure by the emergency services, how lives might have been saved and how subsequent inquiries were misled.

Sporting Pick: 2005 UEFA Champions League Final, Sky Sports 3, 11pm

Highlights of the 2005 Champions League final featuring AC Milan and Liverpool in Istanbul, one of the most dramatic matches in history. Some of you may have even been at the match so make sure to watch it back as you might see a younger you acting the b*llix in the crowd.
