Tonight’s sporting pick follows the coverage of the men’s singles final between Andy Murray and either Novak Djokovic or David Ferrer at Flushing Meadows in New York. Murray booked his place in the showpiece match of the tournament after triumphing 5-7, 6-2, 6-1, 7-6, while the semi-final between Djokovic and Ferrer was delayed due to adverse weather conditions. Four US soldiers stumble upon a fortune in Kuwaiti bullion in the aftermath of the first Gulf War – but agonise over whether to steal the hoard from under the noses of the impoverished local people, who are in desperate need of help. David O Russell’s adventure, starring George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg, Ice Cube, Spike Jonze and Nora Dunn. This is one seriously cool movie and we recommend you stay up past bedtime if you have to.
