Tonight you can throw the feet up and relax with the remake of Dallas, the final of the US Open Tennis or a war flick with a funny sense of humour, Three Kings.

Main Event: Dallas, TV3, 10pm

JR quietly continues his underhanded deal to seize control of Southfork, but becomes suspicious of John Ross’s dealings with the Del Sol family – those pesky Del Sols… Meanwhile, Rebecca suggests Christopher should cancel their honeymoon to focus on business, even though it means working with his ex-fiancée Elena – who is still trying to uncover the truth about the end of their engagement, while Bobby struggles to keep his diagnosis a secret. It’s all going down on Dallas tonight, so make sure to tune in to see what happens.

Sporting Pick: Live US Open Tennis, 8pm, Sky Sports 1

Tonight’s sporting pick follows the coverage of the men’s singles final between Andy Murray and either Novak Djokovic or David Ferrer at Flushing Meadows in New York. Murray booked his place in the showpiece match of the tournament after triumphing 5-7, 6-2, 6-1, 7-6, while the semi-final between Djokovic and Ferrer was delayed due to adverse weather conditions. See, not only Ireland is affected by rain. Who knew?

Movie Pick: Three Kings, 12.15am, ITV2

Four US soldiers stumble upon a fortune in Kuwaiti bullion in the aftermath of the first Gulf War – but agonise over whether to steal the hoard from under the noses of the impoverished local people, who are in desperate need of help. David O Russell’s adventure, starring George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg, Ice Cube, Spike Jonze and Nora Dunn. This is one seriously cool movie and we recommend you stay up past bedtime if you have to.
