Hurricane Sandy has caused billions of dollars in damage, left millions of people homeless and, tragically, is responsiple for the deaths of dozens of others.
There is going to be a massive clean-up across the East Coast of America when the storm dies down, and the familes left without homes will need funding to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.
While the American government and insurance companies will take the brunt of the costs, a benefit concert featuring some rock stars has just been announced via twitter.

Fresh off of announcing a huge gig at Slane next year, Bon Jovi will also take part in a gig for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Sting, Christina Aguilera, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel will also appear with NBC's Matt Lauer hosting.
We’re sure more names will be added in the coming hours and days.
