You, me and everyone else might know all about the background of Limerick’s finest comedy-musical duo The Rubberbandits, but to one festival organiser in the UK they’re actually from England.

The ‘Bandits, who rose to instant fame and acclaim following their classic “Horse Outside” single in 2010, have been a regular on the festival circuit over the past two years.

They’re playing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland next month, but the official Fringe Festival website has somewhat unfortunately listed their country of origin as “England”.
