It’s fair to say Bill Burr’s gig at Vicar Street a couple of weeks ago went down a storm.
The American comedian came out to a staggeringly enthusiastic response from the Irish crowd - one he called a “Saturday night reaction” – then proceeded to blow the f**king roof off of the Dublin venue. It was a genuinely fantastic gig.
During the show, towards the end, Burr pointed out that he had some free DVD’s for the crowd when they leave to which someone responded in a typically Irish manner “FUUUUUCK OFF.” We’ll let Bill explain himself…
