We can’t really put our finger on it, but something tells us that Luis Suarez is a particularly apt subject for this week’s Snickers ‘You’re not you when you’re hungry’ feature.
By Eoghan Doherty

As has been widely reported, it has been quite a week for the Uruguayan forward. After he was caught on camera biting Branislav Ivanovic in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Anfield last Sunday, he has found himself right at the centre of yet another self-inflicted shit-storm. Feast your hungry eyes on this:
The Internet has inevitably exploded in recent days in response to Bite-Gate, with Suarez memes becoming order of the day as JOE reported here.
Two of our personal favourites have to be these particular ones below, so funny and so true at the same time:

Suarez has since kissed and made-up with Ivanovic on Twitter (maybe he’ll take him out for a meal?), he’s been fined an undisclosed fee by Liverpool Football Club and has accepted a charge of violent conduct from the Football Association. His case will be heard today at some stage (Wednesday) and the Uruguayan is facing a lengthy ban.
But, on the plus side, he’s been followed by fellow-biter Mike Tyson on Twitter and he’s had the mick taken out of him by Patrice Evra after United’s Van Persie-inspired win over Aston Villa:

It’s not like he hasn’t had his fair share of controversy before this most recent incident of course – he really puts the ‘eat’ into ‘repeat offender.’ Wahey!
Since last season's unsavoury racism incident with Patrice Evra (for which he was given an eight-match ban and £40,000 fine by the FA), the Uruguayan has been the villainous target of opposition fans everywhere he goes.
There was the non-handshake with Evra when the two clubs met following Suarez’s ban:
Suarez had also been previously banned for seven games when he was at Ajax after biting PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal's shoulder during a match in November 2010:
It’s likely that another ridiculous Suarez-related news story will be filling our headlines over the next few weeks but, until then, it’s important to remember that in spite of whether you love him or hate him, he is a remarkable footballing genius. His ability, agility, speed and work-rate are second to none, but it’s his unpredictability that makes him special.
Even those who vehemently dislike Suarez have to admit though how brilliant he is week in and week out when they marvel at his ability. THEY HAVE TO. And then they hate themselves when they do.
Stick to doing things like this in the future please Luis:
