One of the freakiest movies ever looks like it might be getting a sequel, as Stephen King gives some details on his new title Doctor Sleep

It's been 36 years since The Shining came out as a hugely scary book, and just three years later, the iconic Stanley Kubrick had made it in to one of the creepiest and best films we've ever seen, but finally, it looks like we might be getting a sequel.

Stephen King has been working hard on the sequel, Doctor Sleep, in which he returns to the life of the young kid Danny Torrance, who now works in a hospice with the terminally ill, using his psychic powers to help them out.

King told Entertainment Weekly that he wanted to make the book as creepy as possible, and he was concentrating on trying to “scare the s–t out of people” again, which he is undoubtedly brilliant at.

The book is due out in September of this year, and King seems confident that he's done justice to the original with this sequel, so we're waiting to get our hands on it with baited breath.
