Jedward v Jedheads: This week's most unexpected Twitter row

Twitter rows are ten-a-penny these days, but it’s fair to say we were surprised by the latest one to come across our radar – Jedward v their army of fans.

John and Edward upset their legion of manic followers at the weekend by announcing that they were unfollowing everyone.

Their rationale? A sort of socialism, it seems, culling the ones they follow to protect the equilibrium of their entire fanbase.

They tweeted, “Everyone who we follow send us your last DM because we are unfollowing everyone.”

A second tweet read, “We have been thinking about this over the last few months to keep things equal among the fandom.”

That prompted responses of varying severity. If severity is a word you could ever use in relation to Jedward's fluffy army of crazed loons.

I think their decision was right, and after all, everything they do is up to them. They don't have to spend time with fans so they almost miss their flights, and that's why I love them.

I have to admit I was a bit upset at first when I saw they weren't following me anymore, but I still love Jedward forever and always xx

Oh My God no, know your facts before posting something. Most of us completely support this decision seeing as it does make everything fairer and they obviously thought this through a lot. It's just a few people who are selfish enough not to be grateful that they got a follow in the first place. Most of us are sad that we'll never know what it's like to get a follow but we don't get mad at them because they're trying to do the right thing. It's the real fans who stay with them no matter what, not the fake ones who now hate the twins because of this

This article makes it sound like John and Ed are the bad guys, and they aren't. They had good intentions, all they wanted to do was try and make things more equal throughout the fandom.

Us jedheads respect there Decision and we will Allways love them! Don't pick out tweets from people who arnt fans.. Next time you should get your facts right before writing something that's not true! Yeah, some of us were upset, but we respected there decision and we will Allways still love them!

Most fans, except maybe a few ones, think this decision was very good since that means the fandom WILL be more equal, even though it's a bit sad that no one will get a follow from them anymore. Do your research first -.-
