With the weather perking up (hopefully) thoughts are beginning to turn to music festivals. One of the best is Sea Sessions, and drinkaware.ie are giving away some tickets.

Sea Sessions in the picturesque surfing haven of Bundoran in Donegal has made a name for itself in its first five years as being one of the most chilled, quality festivals of the season.

The line-up for this year’s event, between the 29^th June and 1^st July, leaves nothing more to be desired with international talent like the Kaiser Chiefs and the Happy Mondays joining top quality Irish acts like The Riptide Movement, Jape, Ham Sandwich, The Minutes and Tieranniesaur.

The event has made its name encompassing more than just music with the entire beachside experience and surfing being heavily emphasised. This year the promoters are riding on the coattails of the London Olympics with Sea Sessions organising Olympic competitions of their own with handball and volleyball featuring.

It’s usually a weird and wonderful mix of good, chilled out music and pretty fun activities that with this weather sounds like a good concoction for a craic-filled weekend.
