Chronicle clip: Baseball as you've never seen it before

Chronicle, which opened at cinema screens around Ireland this week, has been described as taking the "found footage" movie medium to a new level. Here's a clip of a super-power flick with a difference.

The film was written and directed by Max Landis, and it's a whole different ball game to the movies which helped make the Landis name, 1980s classics Trading Places, Coming To America and The Blues Brothers, all of which were directed by Max's dad John.

However, there is a line to be drawn, possibly, between the slightly unnerving atmosphere ofAn American Werewolf in London (1980) and that of Chronicle more than 30 years later.

The film opened across Ireland in Ireland on Wednesday. Check out that clip at the top of the page, and read a review from JOE's suitably impressed thinks-of-himself-as a film buff Emmet Purcell over here.

Incidentally, we also have another Chronicle clip - "With great power comes great pranking potential" - over at this link.
