Audio: Is the leaked Daft Punk ‘Get Lucky’ track the real deal?

Is this really it? Is it really real? Well, according to a Canadian radio station called SONiC 102.9 the track below “sounds pretty damn close” to the final product. It was uploaded to SoundCloud last night by a Turkish lad called Can?m Ne Isterse.

Now, no one has actually said that it is definitely the final radio edit of the first track from Daft Punk’s new album Random Access Memories, but in comparison to the various fan made edits that have been coming out over the past couple of days, it’s definitely the best one.

It’s also the first version of the track to feature a lot of Pharrell’s funky-ass lyrics, so it’s a safe bet that it is, or is close to, the final edit.

So, do we think it’s real? Like we said, who cares? It’s a f*cking brilliant mix regardless of whether it’s the final product or not. So sit back, relax and Get Lucky.
