19/06/2012 8:12 pm

The beardy indie genius of Bon Iver are heading to Ireland this year for just one tour date - so if you're one of their biggest fans then you'll need the details.

The Wisconsin folk act are to make their jubilant return to Ireland on Monday, November 12 following the stratospheric success of their sophomore eponymous album which scooped a Grammy for Best New Artist, Best Alternative Album and the coveted Pitchfork Album of 2011.

Armed with a stellar set list from both their gold selling albums, including Skinny Love, Flume, Perth and Holocene, fans who have been lucky enough to see previous Bon Iver sell out Irish shows know that they are truly something memorable and unmissable.

The 2.000 tickets for Bon Iver's last Irish show back in October 2011 sold out in less than 30 minutes so fans are being urged to act fast to avoid disappointment. Tickets go on sale for this very special performance on Friday June 22 at 9am and are priced from €36.50/ €39.50 including booking fee.

As of today, Bon Iver have now announced the remaining six dates to be added to their European touring this year alongside the release of a special seven track iTunes Session EP.

Having toured consistently since their second album's release, the band are next in Europe this July and August for a long run of mostly festival shows. They are also returning for a two week tour of arenas in November and today are confirming that there will also be shows in Madrid, Milan, Copenhagen, London, Manchester and Dublin.
