Saturday Night Warm Up Tracks: Billy Talent, Time Is A Thief and Kasabian

Another Saturday rolls around, which means more of JOE’s Saturday warm up tracks to kick start your Saturday night.

Viking Death March is the first release from Billy Talent’s forthcoming album Dead Silence due out on September 7^th. It’s the Canadian’s fourth album and the follow up to 2009’s Billy Talent III. With a video shot at Germany’s Rock am Ring festival, it will give you a taster of what to expect as they play Dublin’s Academy this Wednesday.

….And supporting Billy Talent is Cork’s own Time is a Thief. Having released their debut album “We’re Not Strangers” in April (Check it out!!!), Time Is A Thief have toured extensively both in Ireland and the UK supporting Billy Talent on the latter leg. Eyes is the latest track taken from their excellent debut.

To round the trio off its Kasabian with Switchblade Smiles from their critically acclaimed Velociraptor album.  As Thursday's gig in Marlay Park gets nearer, we thought you would appreciate the whetting of your appetite with this live version…and if your unfortunate enough not to be attending, it’s a great way to start your Saturday night.
