Ryan Gosling’s dreamy looks aren’t even the most beautiful thing about his latest film ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’, that mantle goes to the soundtrack, wonderfully crafted by Faith No More frontman Mike Patton. Just to emphasise the fantasticness of it, here’s one of the main motifs.

We’re on something of a Mike Patton horn at the moment, so we couldn’t overlook a Faith No More classic taken from their 1995 album ‘King for a Day…Fool for a Lifetime’.

 

Chris Cornell – When I’m Down

We had to resist including another Mike Patton track. It was tough though, believe us, very tough. So instead we opted for vocalist extraordinaire and Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell. His voice is just so lovely.
