Sunday Morning chill-out tracks
As the weekend draws to a close, unwind from your hectic lifestyle with JOE’s Sunday Chill-Out tracks.
First up it’s Bowie with “Bring me the Disco King” and no, it’s not about you! After a few failed attempts the track was finally released on Bowie’s 2003 album ‘Reality’, and was remixed by Danny Lohner for Len Wiseman’s (Total Recall) Underworld soundtrack. The remix features Tool’s Maynard James Keenan and John Frusciante of Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Next up is God is an Astronaut with “Fragile”. The Wicklow lads have made a name for themselves with their atmospheric instrumental post rock sound and “Fragile” from their “All is Violent, All is Bright” album is sure to soothe any remnants of last night’s shenanigans.
Finally up is Chris Cornell with “Preaching The End of the World” from his debut solo album – Euphoria Morning. Thankfully Timbaland had not crossed paths with the Soundgarden man at this stage, so you're in luck. Here’s the Timbaland-less Cornell with an absolute peach of tune.
Enjoy.
