Glorious sunshine, good tunes and a great atmosphere, we’re sure it’s great being at the Electric Picnic this weekend. No need to keep telling us about it though.

The Stradbally festival has become the highlight of the Irish musical calendar for the last few years and the majority of those in Laois this weekend will no doubt testify afterwards that it was the best weekend everrrrr.

We don’t exactly begrudge all the festival-goers having a good time, but for those of us that couldn’t go for whatever reasons, it soon becomes a little grating to hear the constant testimonies from those who are there as to just how great it is.

Twitter and Facebook have become clogged with messages, photos and videos of events in Stradbally and if you’re unfortunate enough, you might get a drunken text or phonecall to heighten your misery.

A tweet from fashion and beauty blogger Leanne Woodfull last night is a pretty accurate summation of how the rest of us are feeling.

We get it, it’s good and yes, we’re insanely jealous.

Now put your phone away for a few hours and enjoy yourself without having to relay every single detail for God’s sake.
