They’re currently slap bang in the middle of the sixth series of the excellent Mad Men television series and so, if you’re wondering what the fuss is all about, there’s no better time to introduce yourself to the effortlessly cool Don Draper and friends, the finest ad men in New York.

An American period drama set in the 1960s, the critically-acclaimed Mad Men follows Don Draper (John Hamm) as he lives his lavish life as Creative Director at the Sterling Cooper Ad Agency. One of the most stylish and best written shows on television, Mad Men is well worth your time having won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. So they must be doing something right.
