UPC and Element Pictures join to create UPC On Demand films to bring you Irish movies on TV
By Genna Patterson
Irish Entertainment provider UPC has signed a deal with Irish Production Company, Element Pictures to supply movies on Element Pictures distribution arm for UPC On Demand Service.
The launch will include the airing of Oscar winner Alex Gibney’s Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God, on the same date that the documentary will be released in cinemas nationwide, February 22. Mea Maxima Culpa won an Irish Film and Television Award this year for Best Documentary and exposes the depths of the Catholic Church’s cover up of the child abuse scandal all the way to the Vatican.
