As the build up to the return of Game of Thrones continues, this ad is both clever and very cool.
The folks at HBO are pretty clever. As well as producing great show after great show, they really know how to market their product too.
For months now we have had small teasers for series 3 of Game of Thrones and now, just weeks before it returns to screens in the US, they have dropped this ad in the New York Times.
Not only is it eye-catching and a perfect fit with the show, the articles all relate to Game of Thrones themes too.

Nice work HBO.
