The end of September is upon us and that means our favourite American animated TV shows will be on our screens once again within the coming weeks.
The Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park will air their latest episodes over in the US this week – American Dad already had its season opener last week – and South Park have released this short teaser to whet our appetites ahead of the 18th season of the show.
The one-minute clip features Redskins owner Daniel Snyder, quarterback Robert Griffin III and head coach Jay Gruden as they confront Eric Cartman about naming his latest business ‘The Washington Redskins’.
Back in July, the U.S. patent office decided that the Redskins name was “disparaging to Native Americans,” and thus stripped the team of its trademark meaning it’s now fair game. With all the talk of the NFL in the news these past weeks, we’re sure the Redskins won’t be the only ones in the league to feel the full wrath of Matt Stone and Trey Parker…
