Chris O'Dowd continues his US success with Friends With Kids trailer
Did you enjoy Bridesmaids last summer? Then you'll be delighted to hear that there's a new comedy on the way that appears to feature its entire original cast - Friends With Kids.
Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jon Hamm and our very own Chris O'Dowd evidently took one step from the set of Bridesmaids onto their latest comedy, with Hamm and Wiig even playing a couple once more, albeit this time things are a little more serious between the two.
The friends of the movie's title refers to Adam Scott (best known as the douche brother of Will Ferrell in Stepbrothers) and Jennifer Westfeldt, two best friends that decide to have a child together while keeping their relationship platonic, so that they can avoid the toll kids can take on romantic relationships.
Basically, imagine if Phoebe and Joey had a baby in the TV show Friends. Weird, right?
It's a fairly contrived premise to be honest and it's fairly telegraphed in the above trailer that the two main characters will - surprise, surprise - get together in the end, but we're just happy to see O'Dowd's continued ascension in US film. Also, Megan Fox in a supporting role is a plus, right?
