McAdams and Kitsch confirmed for the hit HBO show…
The cast for the new season of True Detective is almost complete after HBO confirmed that Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch have come on board.
The duo join Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn who were confirmed for the main roles a few months ago.
McAdams, who you’ll know from The Notebook and Mean Girls, will play a character called Ani Bezzerides, a sheriff’s detective who plays by the rules.
Kitsch, who you’ll know better as Tim Riggins in the brilliant Friday Night Lights, will play a police officer and war veteran with a bit of a shady past.
The report in Entertainment Weekly says that production is already underway for season two with the show scheduled to air sometime next summer. We can’t wait.
