The Oscars have been and gone but there was another
excuse to drink Hollywood award ceremony taking place over the weekend that had more of an Irish feel to it.
The
Oscar Wilde Awards is a pre-Oscar party that celebrates Irish artists in Hollywood and it's regularly hosted by Star Wars : Episode VII director J.J Abrams.

RTE was over covering the event and he caught up with Stephen Fry who once again declared his love for our 32 counties, Stephen Colbert demonstrating his expert knowledge of Irish geography and J.J. Abrams recalling his experiences whilst filming in Skellig Michael.
