Here’s hoping that the Irish accent sticks.
If you haven’t seen the trailer for True Detective Season 2 then we strongly urge you to do because it looks bloody brilliant.
While there’s no dialogue on offer in the trailer, it seems that our own Colin Farrell will be rocking his famous Miami Vice Sonny Crockett ‘tache once again but we wonder if his Irish brogue will also make an appearance.
What we wouldn’t give to hear the In Bruges star portray his new character on the TV show with a Dublin accent that sounds as if he was just plucked away from selling fruit on Moore Street.
The Republic of Telly have drafted in Angela Scanlon this week as they imagine what the actor might be like on the next season of True Detective.
