A promotional video of some of the Irish soccer squad trying on their suits over weekend was released by the FAI Youtube account today.
Bizarrely for some reason it was set to the beats of Chicane’s overly dramatic Saltwater dance hit.
The FAI shifted criticism in some quarters for choosing London based Chess as the suit manufacturers to the Irish team back in February and not a native Irish supplier.
Midfielder Keith Andrews is a partner in the UK label, which is described as "dedicated to creating classically tailored clothing for talented and dedicated men".
The team was measured up a few months ago and had their suits delivered at the weekend.
Whatever the criticism may have come, at least the Irish squad look fairly sharp and nothing like the cream atrocities Jamie Redknapp famously helped picked for his Liverpool side ahead of the 1996 FA Cup final.
Also if a dapper Italian like Trapattoni is happy enough to wear it, the suits probably passes the quality test.
