You wouldn’t expect much musical inspiration from a band called the Bone Idle Wasters, but we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by our latest Euro 2012 song entry.
Called Come on You Boys in Green, the man behind it, Darragh O’Toole freely admits that it was a bedroom job and is a bit rough around the edges, but for just an acoustic guitar and a percussion instrument called a Cajon that the musical ignoramuses in JOE Towers had never previously heard of, we think the Bone Idle Wasters manage a pretty good sound.
The song is dedicated to Darragh’s football mad nephews Dylan and Chad and if you fancy singing along to what is a catchy anthem, the lyrics are there for all to see in the video above.
