Video: An early contender for best video from Euro 2012

The English team bus arrived at their hotel in Krakow this afternoon. Some Irish fans were waiting. We think we can safely can call this 1-0 to the Boys in Green.

We are expecting to find lots of brilliant videos over the next few weeks as Irish fans revel in their first major soccer tournament in 10 years. We didn’t think we would find one this good, this quick.

We won’t keep you from the clip too long but when the England team bus arrived at their hotel in Krakow today, it seems that the Irish fans, somehow, outnumbered the English. And they out sang them too.

From ‘You’ll never beat the Irish’ to ‘The Fields of Athenry’ the Irish fans belt out any number of Lansdowne Road classics to welcome Roy Hodgson's men to Poland.

They even find time to sing a little bit about John Terry. It all sounds fairly good natured and according to reports on Twitter, the English fans were soon hitting back with chants of ‘Thierry Henry’ and ‘You’re going down with the Euro’. See, all good clean fun.

    An early contender for best video? Class? It is none of them. It is embarrassing small minded idiots. Booing a team arriving and mentioning the IRA! That is not the famous Irish fans, they are toe rags. Concentrate on your own team and not worry about England. Truly embarrassing, can't wait until the REAL Irish fans arrive and we show everyone why we are the lads.

    Can everyone climb down off their high horse and just relax. It was a bit of harmless banter back and forward and the English gave as good as they got. This kinda thing happens at every football match and is nothing new. So if you're that offended my find a new sport and stop acting surprised!

    f**king embarrassing numpty paddywhack spud munching ole ole ole-ers, and I'm Irish. They cheer them on every week, yet boo them. The same shower of pricks would go ape shit if the English did it....WANKERS of the highest order. It's why I don't watch much football, cos of wankers like this.
