Video: Irish powerlifter rips muscle clean off the bone in horrific looking injury

Irishman Tommy Dolan was attempting to squat a whopping 280kg (617lbs, 44.1 Stone) during the Irish Powerlifting Organisation's (IPO) National Championship at the weekend when he suffered the following gruesome injury. Now, before you click the video you should know that Tommy suffered an extremely bad tear to his quadriceps, which basically means his quad muscle tore right off the bone. It’s a sound and a sight that you probably won’t forget anytime soon… Thankfully, it appears as though Tommy is doing okay in hospital and according to IPO Facebook page, “he's in good spirit but a lot of pain”.
