Barcelona's makeshift centre back Javier Mascherano dedicated the Catalans' Champions League win to Liverpool fans on Saturday night.
The Argentina international played his heart out in the 3-1 victory at Wembley and when interviewed by Sky Sports after the final whistle he took the opportunity to make amends to Liverpool supporters whom he walked out on last summer.
"I know the Liverpool supporters were a little bit sad with me after my exit, this is for them as well," Mascherano said.
Sure to go down well on Merseyside after they watched their fierce rivals succumb to the brilliance of Barca.
