JOE is on the search for the next great Irish football song. Have you got what it takes to compete with Billy Joel, Horslips and Dustin The Turkey?

As you can see here, the standard of Irish football songs at tournaments is pretty high. While the team usually hit the ceiling at about the time we expected, the songs have lived on long beyond their planned shelf life.

And with the lads confirming our slot in Poland/Ukraine next summer last night, there is now a gap in the market for a new ‘Joxer’, a new ‘Give It A Lash’ to step in and join the pantheon of greatness that has gone before.

We have already had a few early ones out of the Traps (sorry). The Trap Rap is already up and running but we think that you guys can do a lot better.

Already this morning we received this from four lads in Melbourne called The Artistic Differences, which we think is not half bad.

But we also know you are a talented bunch out there – or at least you might know somebody who is – so if you or your friends have a song about the trip to Polkraine send it in to us at shout@joe.ie, and if it’s any good, or even if it's not, we might put it up.
