The clamour for tickets has been intense in Germany as Dortmund and Bayern look for the golden tickets for Wembley. And they are willing to spend big for the big game.

London has been taken over by the Germans, forgive the phraseology, as the two great Bundesliga rivals lock horns tonight in what promises to be a cracker. However the clubs had just 25,000 tickets each (Dortmund said they had received up to half a million fans apply for tickets) to distribute to their supporters, but many are travelling anyway and willing to pay over-the-odds to see their beloved team in action.
The most expensive ticket at face value is £330, but one Madrid-based website is offering a pair of tickets for €16,000, while some papers are suggesting that touts in and around London could receive a similar price for their tickets.
Of course anyone able to afford that is either ridiculously wealthy or a few sandwiches short of the full picnic, but either way, some touts are set to make a handsome profit from the notoriously economically prudent Germans.
