He has expertly parted hair and is an Inter Milan legend - is there anything Javier Zanetti can't do? Actually, viewers of Indonesian Idol have discovered his one weakness - singing.

On Wednesday Inter Milan arrived in Jakarta to prepare for two friendly matches against Indonesian teams and the side's Argentine-born captain made sure to endear himself to reporters quite quickly.

“It has been a great welcome," Zanetti told reporters after the team touched down in the Indonesian capital. "We’re really happy. It’s the first time I’ve been to this country and it’s a real honour."

With Inter also planning to open their own soccer school in the country, the charm offensive continued with perhaps one of the oddest sights we've seen in a long time - Javier Zanetti singing live on Indonesian Idol last night.

Zanetti appeared alongside teammate Angelo Palombo but stepped up as any captain would when offered to sing, before delivering a rendition of Eros Ramazzotti's 'Più bella cosa'.
