There are a few players down the years who have worn both Celtic and Liverpool shirts, and have produced some unforgettable moments no matter what colours they were in
Kenny Dalglish
In recent memory, it would be hard to find a player and manager who has been more loved at Liverpool Football Club than Kenny Dalglish, but the Scot who became an honorary Scouse came down from Glasgow, where he had been so impressive that Bob Paisley had to stump up a record transfer fee to bring him to Anfield.
We think it's fair to say that he was worth every penny. His time at Liverpool is remembered fondly by every Red, from his achievements as a player, to the way in which he supported the families of the Hillsborough disaster, how he constantly campaigned for the truth, and how he returned to the managerial seat when the club needed him again recently, Dalglish is a true legend of Liverpool.
However, with four Scottish league and cup medals to his name too, he wasn't too shabby when he played for the Bhoys, so here's a bit of footage of some of his finest moments in green and white.

Craig Bellamy
A divisive character, and not quite as legendary as King Kenny (but then who is?) has consistently scored goals wherever he's been, and his time at both Celtic and Liverpool was no exception . He grabbed the headlines with his controversial golf club celebration after he scored for Liverpool against Barcelona, making a statement to the press about all the stories which had emerged regarding him and team mate John Arne Riise, but he did have a good few moments in Red.

One thing that Bellamy did do when he played was to always give it everything on the pitch, and fans of both Liverpool and Celtic have always appreciated that in any player. Bellamy does seem to be remembered fairly fondly, and when he returns to Anfield with Cardiff City this year, he will more than likely be given a good reception.
His time at Celtic was also a success, and although he had been loaned there after having a falling out with Alan Shearer at Newcastle, he certainly made himself a fan favourite in Glasgow by banging in the goals, his pace and power proving far too much for Celtic's SPL rivals as he grabbed seven in just 12 appearances.
Robbie Keane
It's probably fair to say that his time at Liverpool didn't work out as the Irish captain had planned, and he would be the person who would be most disappointed by that, we're sure.
His lack of success at Anfield was not for want of trying, and although he's often mocked for saying so, he really did want to play for Liverpool since he was a child. Perhaps it was that desire to not fail, to prove to everyone that he was worth the price tag, that saw him play differently and perhaps a bit unnaturally at Liverpool
That desire and heart can be seen in the celebration of his first goal in red at Anfield, a very special moment for Robbie indeed.

He wasn't too shabby at Celtic either in 2010, where he grabbed 12 goals in just 16 games, proving, as he has time and again for Ireland, that there are few strikers who have a better goal scoring instinct than he has.
