The Premier League is done and dusted for another season and we are already feeling withdrawl symptoms.
By Declan Whooley
Fergie went out at the top, Spurs failed to edge out their North London rivals for a Champions League spot, time eventually caught up with Wigan while QPR had a most miserable season back in the top-flight.
Add into the mix a whole host of managerial changes, some bargain-buy strikers (Van Persie, Benteke and Michu), high-scoring encounters and not to mention a certain Liverpool striker ensuring that he was making headlines for more than just his brilliant exploits in front of goals and it was another intruiging season in the English top-flight.
So after 380 matches of the 2012/13 campaign, here is the season by numbers and some stats that can be easily thrown out in the pub.
7
Number of Premier League assists for Damien Duff, the top assisting Irishman. Which was two more than Everton’s Seamus Coleman.

15,436
The lowest gate of the season was the relegation clash between Wigan and Reading at the DW Stadium, with the home side winning 3-2.

16
The number of times Swansea failed to score in a Premier League game, the joint-worst record along with QPR. Man. Utd failed on just three occasions to find the net.
13,519,607
Number of supporters that attended the 2012/13 Premier League.
13
Number of hat-tricks during the course of the season.
Luis Suarez and Robin van Persie took home the match ball twice each, while the other players to bag hat-tricks were Jordi Gomez, Santi Cazorla, Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, Shinji Kagawa, Christian Benteke, Daniel Sturridge, Kevin Nolan and Romelu Lukaku

9
The number of games that had a 5-goal plus winning margin. The biggest was Chelsea's 8-0 battering of Aston Villa.
523
The number of players that featured during the campaign, representing 71 countries in the process.
12
