Inspired by the blast from the past from Roberto Baggio we brought you earlier in the week, we decided to revisit some more of the greatest first touches of all time.

And we’re not talking about the first kiss/shift you got behind the school shed when you were still a young fella either (Wahey!). We are, of course, talking about some of the finest examples of instant ball control from some of the best players in the world over the years; from the aforementioned Baggio to Berbatov, from Messi to Zidane and from Suarez to, eh, Simon Cox. Of course, there is every chance we’ve missed a few outstanding examples and if we have feel free to let us know and add your own suggestions in the comment box below, but for now, take a few minutes, sit back and prepare to salivate over these clips.
